Education

I started my education in the Huron School District. I attended kindergarden and half of my first grade year at Jefferson elementary. I moved in the middle of my first grade year and the attended Wolsey School District. I went to school in Wolsey until the middle of my third grade year. My family moved again this time too a farm outside of Hitchcock. I went to in the Hitchcock School District only for the rest of my third grade year. During the summer of 1989 was th South Dakota Centenial. This was a big year but it was also a hard year for my family. My mother divorced my step-father so we had to move again. This time I was back in the Huron School District. I cantinued from the fourth grade thru the middle of my seventh grade year here. I then moved to live with my biological father in Delmont, S.D. The Tripp School District is a consolidated district. I rode a school bus to Tripp, S.D. and went to school thier from the middle of my seventh grade year till the middle of my freshmen year of high school. I wanted to move back to my mother, so I went back and finished high school at Huron High School and graduated in June of 1999.

After high school I was planning on attending college in Huron, at Huron University. My future goals were all established as to what I wanted to do. Things took a surprising turn at the end of July in 1999. I went on a trip to the Black Hills. I was not out in that area since i was younger. I loved it so much I ended up moving out their a week later after my trip. I then registered as soon as possible at Black Hills State University. I attended school here from 1999-2000 then took 4 years off and traveled around taking photographs. I then returned and am graduating on May 9, 2009 with a major in Communication Arts and a minor is Business Administration & Mass Communications with an emphasis in Photography.  I will miss being about of the school paper, "Jacket Journal" and the "Jacket Investmet Club."  Both of these organizations that I was deeply involved have given me my skill and talents that I plan to use in the future.
